“We completed our kitchen remodel with Normandy’s designer Liz Reifschneider and construction supervisor Mike Karnas in October 2016. We are deeply pleased with the result. We had consulted several remodeling services including two big box stores and a small local firm but could not find satisfying answers or a complete concept meeting our needs until Liz pulled the project together after a series of discussions and meetings. The team listened well to our wishes and worked to help us realize them. The new look really complements our vintage house by adding fresh design, subtle colors and a beautiful variety of textures. Mike anticipated a few building code issues and worked them into the schedule so we finished on time and close to the cost estimate. We had good communication daily from Mike, the crews were nearly always on time, and Liz stopped buy to monitor and consult on the couple questions that arose part way. It was reassuring that staff was generous with their time throughout the project. Mike was really good about protecting the finishes and nearby areas during construction, did a good job holding down dust, etc. and even helped us with a few household matters between crews coming and going. And Liz’s coordination with Abt appliances worked smoothly to make sure we had the right design and models for our needs. On the advice of a neighbor we hired Normandy about 19 years ago to build our one-story family room with 3/4 bath on a modest budget. We’ve gotten tremendous value from that and now are enjoying our new kitchen to the max. Both projects went well so we think Normandy is a pretty good outfit.”

We had looked at a few different design/build companies and chose to go with Normandy after two face to face meetings with the designer on our project, Maury Jones. I can’t say enough good things about both Maury and Normandy. Maury was attentive, responsive, clear & concise in his communication with us, and he went above and beyond in helping guide us through the process. When you’re entering into a project like this, it helps to have someone you trust is looking out for your best interests. While we didn’t move forward with the project, it had nothing to do with Maury, Normandy, or the quality of work they put in. We’ve already recommended Normandy to friends of ours for their remodeling projects and will continue to do so. And if we find ourselves looking at another project in the future, Maury will be our first call.”

“My husband and I asked Jennifer Cross to design a plan to remodel our kitchen, bath and add a laundry to an upstairs closet near the bedrooms. Jennifer did a fabulous job and she has such good taste! She was also extremely knowledgeable about building codes and plumbing issues, and she gave us excellent advice. I highly recommend both Jennifer and Normandy Builders. “

“We can’t say enough good things about Normandy Builders, Vince Weber (designer) and Tom Leatherwood (tradesman) and all the workers involved in are project. We first used Normandy to remodel are kitchen back in 2010. Vince was so great to work with. He was very patient, listened and gave us plenty of ideas. After many months the kitchen game out beautiful. Normandy is absolutely great when it comes to standing behind their work and materials. We liked everything they did so much. We went back to Vince and have him help us remodel an existing bathroom and add a bathroom in the basement. Thanks everyone for the great work you did.”
